Normally This does get burned at sunrise and at sunset but there is no hard and fast rule .. As its been said when Sun goes down we need support from external sources to protect us from what come next till sun rise.. And Sun rise so that we can start our day with good boost of positive enforcement
 
Direction and Caution : You just need to lit up cup on side and put in proper holder/burner/stand. Dont put this on surface as is as cup also burns all the way .. We do provide cement placement holder for first time buyer ordering them but you have to use proper plate or dhoop holder for placing them. Dont leave it unattended and on any surface as is .. It does create good amount of  smoke once resins starts buring same like smudging but we never had fire alarm issue as there is no harmful chemical detected, But fire hazard if proper holder not used so please take required precaution
